The uCode

They were developed a few years ago in Japan and in a short time their use spread to other areas. Conceived as the evolution of the bar code for an industrial application, designers quickly recover them for a more glamorous purpose.

How does it work?

Installing simple applications on your mobile phone, the display of the camera becomes a code reader. On the screen it will appear a message containing the code, for example a link to a website. Clicking on this link you get in direct contact with the winemaker of the wine that your are lovely tasting at your favorite restaurant, for example.

What is it usefull for?

To experience new forms of innovative communication, creative, provocative, as sending a message from a bottle to the Net that wine lovers can see and also experience without further intermediate mechanism than a simple active link added to a label. To arouse curiosity about the wine in an experimental market segment, young, native and virtual lover of fine wines.
